Welcome to the University Privacy Office (the Privacy Office) at the University of Toronto. The Privacy Office supports the University in its compliance with provincial and federal privacy laws. We oversee freedom of information and protection of privacy at the University, by:

  • Protecting the personal information collected by the University of students, alumni, faculty, and staff
  • Processing Freedom of Information requests
  • Supporting our faculty and staff in fostering excellent record keeping and privacy practices at the University
